3 Story Pictures Launches with a Bang!
Newly formed media production company 3 Story Pictures Inc. is hitting the ground running as its three partners receive accolades and opportunities at both the Realscreen Summit and Banff World Media Festival in June 2022.
Producer Ell McEachern has been selected as a finalist for the Realscreen Summit Showdown in California early in the month. She will be one of three competing for development money from HGTV with the 3 Story television series Streamers, a lifestyle show exploring a father-son business of refurbishing airstream trailers and their adventures along the way.
Fellow 3 Story producer Hannah Hermanson and Ell are also two of the 100 women entrepreneurs selected as part of the 2022 cohort for the BANFF Spark Accelerator for Women in the Business of Media. Chosen from hundreds of applications from across Canada, Ell and Hannah will participate in tailored business development programming, one-on-one mentorship, and exclusive access to top international media industry players at the 2022 Banff World Media Festival.
Their partner Saxon de Cocq will also be in the spotlight at Banff as a Professional Development Program Participant in the Netflix Diversity of Voices initiative. Saxon is a Métis writer, director and creative producer who will be using this opportunity to pitch and sell an array of scripted and factual 3 Story projects to major players at the festival.
